Prayer Of Confession:

• We ought to be the salt of the earth lost our saltiness and witnessing life. So, forgive us; O, Lord!
• We failed to follow your commandments, decrees and thus disobeyed you. So, forgive us; O,Lord!
• We despise your name among gentiles and misuse your name. So, forgive us; O, Lord!
• We failed to worship you with holiness, fear and willing spirit and we get proud of our tradition. So, forgive us; O, Lord!
• We are called to do good works, but we became partners of bad works. So, forgive us; O, Lord!
• We failed to act with oneness of mind, but with the divided spirit and seeking our own interest and thus forgot thy kingdom. So, forgive us; O, Lord!

Prayer For The Other Churches:

We should pray with burden and tears for the unsaved to be saved, for those who are not filled by the Holy Spirit, to be filled by the Holy Spirit, for those who are not living fruit yielded life would lead fruit yielding life, for those who are not doing soul winning would rise up and bring many souls unto the Lord. Prayer points are given in this prayer letter. Use this to pray for the revival of the Churches and for the Christians to live as a channel of blessing to this nation by God’s grace.

“Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed”. (Psalms. 119:136)

• Lutheran Church, Methodist Church, Baptist Church, Church of South India (CSI), Church of North India (CNI), Marthoma Church, Pentecostal Churches, Presbyterian Church, Full Gospel Revival Churches, Roman Catholic Churches, Protestant Churches, Charismatic Churches, Independent and Interdenominational Churches which includes AGAPE BIBLE CHURCHES and Holiness Movements.
• Pray that the Churches would pray sincerely for one another, walls of suspicion, mistrust, dislike, and envy would be removed by our Lord, love and communion would be happen among the Churches.
• Pray that the fellowship between leaders of all Churches would be strengthened.
• Pray that increased unity and oneness would be seen among the Churches based on biblical values by keeping the kingdom principles in mind.
• The Church leaders would understand that greater intimacy with God and a deeper brokenness before God would from the roots of developing greater unity and community.

Prayer For Our Church Members:

Pray for the revival in all the lives of the believers in India. This revival is very much essential.

Ephesians: 5:8-11 & Galatians:5:22-23.

• Pray that all our Church members would truly born again and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
• Pray that the Lord would give the gifts of the Spirit to the Church members as He determines for the growth of the Church.
• Pray that the Lord would command fruitful life and unity among the Church members.
• Pray that the whole Church would grow in holiness, communion, love and fervency.
• Pray for the sick persons who come to the Church would be healed, for the unsaved to get deliverance from their sin and grow in holiness.
• Pray for the persons who come with the requests of marriage, employment opportunities, home needs, success in exams etc., would receive blessings from the Lord.
• Pray that the Church members would get a salvation experience and not live as a nominal Christians.
• All should fulfil their participation in the life and growth of the Church, the body of Christ as its members.
• None would despise the Church service and all should sit in the Church from the beginning of the service without fail. (Deut. 6:13, 4:7,8, Ps. 95:2)
• After the Church service, the congregation would talk with each other and grow in the Christian fellowship and love.
• Pray that all the Church members would have personal prayer, family prayer in their houses without fail. (Deut. 1:20-23)
• All believers would pray earnestly daily and all would be careful not only to talk with the Lord but also to listen to His voice.
• Pray that the Church members would be delivered from the unGodly pursuit of divination – astrology, palmistry, numerology, sorcery, vaasthu, looking for auspicious days, time, star, etc.
• Pray that all would stand firm in God’s word and stand away from the worldly life.
• All would have the mind of Christ Jesus, win Satan, lead a witnessing life and be careful for the false teachings.
• Our Lord would deliver the Church members from rebellion, arrogance disobedience, envy, greedy, gossip, slander, m alice and other bad habits and tendencies.
• The Holy Spirit would help the Church members to be humble and obedient to God’s voice and to lead the spirit controlled life.
• The entire congregation would seek Bible more, meditate God’s word daily, apply it to their lives and cooperate with the Lord for the plans he kept for them.

Prayer For The Worship Services:

• Pray that the entire congregation would praise and worship the Lord with all of their mind, heart, strength and soul so that they would be filled with God’s presence mightily.
• All should praise much by feeling the immense presence of the resurrected and victorious Lord, JESUS who has conquered sin and death.
• The entire worship would be acceptable to the holy God.
• The Holy Spirit would lead each and every worshipping service.
• The Holy Spirit would anoint each and every programme of the service.
• The Holy Spirit would touch the new comers who participate in the service.
• The people who come with great burden to the service would return their home with everlasting peace and God’s blessing.
• The congregation would participate in the Holy Communion service with a prepared heart and would receive God’s blessing. (1 Cor. 11:20-34)

Prayer For The Revival In The Family:

• Pray that Christ would be the Head of every family.
• Pray that the roles and responsibilities of being husband and father, wife and mother would be better understood and conform to the biblical pattern.
• There would be correction and transformation in families where the husband or wife has not been playing a positive role.
• The Lord would bless all our families so that love and unity will replace hatred, separation and divorce and the marriages of Christians become exemplary.
• The children would be brought up with love and discipline and taught to obey God their parents. The Holy Spirit would help them to obey.
• The children would be encouraged to accept Jesus as their Saviour at an early age.
• The spirit of unity, love, understanding, forgiveness and joy would prevail in every Christian home.
• The young people would seek God’s will and guidance concerning marriage and career.
• The old and infirm would be honoured by their children and treated with love and care.
• The widows and orphans would be cared and never be neglected or abandoned.

Prayer For The Revival In The Church:

• Pray that every Church would reflect Jesus Christ by demonstrating forgiveness, acceptance, love and concern for one another and function as one body under the headship of Jesus Christ.
• Pray that every Church would be alive and vibrant under the leading of the Holy Spirit.
• Pray that prayer and intercession would become an integral part of every Church.
• The congregation would get victory over satanic, social and personal evils through their strong faith in Jesus.
• The evangelists and Pastors would preach and teach God’s word with faithfulness and relevance.
• Only committed Christians, filled with the Holy Spirit would be chosen to positions of Leadership in Churches and Christian institutions.
• There would be reform, cleansing and transformation in places where there are unGodly leaders.
• The backsliders would be restored and nominal Christians would come under the salvation experience through the Lord Jesus.
• Sharing the Gospel would become a priority in every Church so that many members would be added to the body of Christ.

Pray For God To Be Glorified In And Through Us:

• Pray that we, the Christians would live holy and consecrated lives, demonstrating God’s love and power to the world.
• Pray that we would retain and affirm every wholesome Indian tradition, custom and cultural practice and reject those that are harmful and unbiblical.
• God’s people would be delivered from remnants of pagan customs like caste, community, dowry, etc.

Pray For Unity:

• Pray that a spirit of unity and peace will replace the spirit of division among all Christians.
• The denominational barriers would be torn down and the Body of Christ would be united through love and acceptance of one another.
• The differences not conflicting with basic Bible truths would be celebrated as God’s provision for variety, rather than cause division.
• All Christians would gather for prayer in all cities and towns.

Pray For Youth Ministry In The Church:

• The Church leaders would realize, “Today’s youth are tomorrow’s Church leaders” and encourage them by giving chances to involve in Church activities.
• The Church leaders would listen for the good opinions of the youth.
• The youth would listen the counsels of their parents and Church Leaders and give respect to them.
• All the youth would participate in the youth meeting on every Sundays and change as a mighty witnesses for the Lord.
• Special meetings would be conducted for the youth often to lead towards holy life.
• They would be encouraged to participate in village ministry, hospital ministry, jail ministry and the youth would involve in these ministry wilfully.

Pray For Our Leaders:

• Thank God much for your Leaders / Senior Pastor.
• The whole family of the Leaders / Senior Pastor would be blessed physically and spiritually.
• The Lord would protect the family of Leaders / Senior Pastor from the eyes of the wicked and from the snares of evil powers, provide their family needs plentifully and the Lord would give his abundant grace to grow in holiness and prayer day by day.
• The Holy Spirit would help the Leaders / Senior Pastor to give the spiritual counsels to the people and Pastors in all the Church matters.
• When the leaders / Senior Pastor takes effort for the spiritual growth of the people, no hindrance would happen and the Lord would give success in that efforts and help in the spiritual life of the congregations to grow in a larger level.
• The Lord would help Leader / Senior Pastor to take efforts in planting Churches in the villages where there are no Church within the diocese. The Lord would bless all the efforts.
• When the Leader / Senior Pastor take effort in the management of the diocesan schools and institutions that no malpractices would be followed there, it would be succeed. Proper counsels would be given for the management and the Lord would help the Leader / Senior Pastor to perform their duties with the spiritual authority.
• No hindrance would come for the Leader / Senior Pastor to wait upon the Lord’s presence for a long time everyday in the midst of their heavy duties.
• The Holy Spirit would exist fully with the Leader / Senior Pastor when they deal different kinds of problems and would help to fulfil God’s righteousness.

Pray For Pastors:

• Thank God much for your Pastors.
• Pray that the whole family of the Pastor would be blessed physically and spiritually.
• The Lord would protect the family of Pastor from the eyes of the wicked and from the snares of evil powers, provide their family needs plentifully and the Lord would give his abundant grace to grow in holiness and prayer day by day.
• The Lord would fill the Pastors with His power, give the gifts and the fruits of the spirit to them as he determines, reveal many things to them and bless their ministry abundantly.
• No hindrance would come for the Pastors to stay long time in prayers. Suitable circumstances and chance would be getting to receive God’s word from the Lord in the midst of many duties.
• Prayer groups would be formed among the Pastors and would function effectively.
• The Church election should be held with the help of the Lord, with the oneness of all Churches and evidence of the Bible.
• Problems would not rise up in any matter of the Churches in such a way of going to courts.

Pray For Sunday School Ministry:

• The Sunday school teachers would be the persons who received the assurance of salvation, (Psalm: 50:16-20)
• Special attention would be given for the children within the age group of 13 to 19. (Proverbs: 22:6 & 29:15)
• The strategy of Sunday school and Vacatiuon Bible School (VBS) would be formed on the basis of biblical truth.
• All the Sunday school children would be saved and grow in the spirit.
• Lot of Christian children and other children would participate in the V.B.S. ministry and pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead them unto the Lord that they would be blessed.

Pray For The Church Members To Be Vigorous To Proclaiming The Gospel:

• Each and every member of the Church would pray for the people around them and do soul winning.
• Pray that the Lord would raise up large number of people to do soul winning.
• Pray that God would raise up Spirit-filled evangelists, Pastors, missionaries and teachers to champion the cause of Christ throughout the nation.
• That these people would be completely consecrated to the Lord and His work, and be free from pride and egotism. They would do their ministry with the progressive holiness of the Spirit.
• That they would minister according to the gifts that God has given them, and there by fulfil their ministries truly.
• Pray that the Holy Spirit would work among the congregation and leaders in such a way that they would sponsor lot of missionaries and missions and they would grow in the missionary burden.
• The Church leaders and the congregation would pray for the people who don’t know the gospel with burden.
• The whole counsel of God would be preached and taught by the spiritual leaders and that no part of the truth would be avoided for fear of the enemies of the Gospel.
• Pray for open doors for the Gospel to reach all people in every level of our society.
• That pockets of resistance in the country and anti-Christian sentiments be broken down in Jesus name, and anti-conversion laws repealed where they are still in vogue.
• That the people of India would reject communal governments and good secular governments will be established in every State, so that the gospel may be preached and heard without fear.
• That God would bless every medium being used for gospel proclamation, radio, television, cassettes, books, tracts etc. and open up more doors where these are lacking.

Christians In Art:

• Pray for the Christians who are involved in Art and Network would guard their witnessing life.

Christians In Media:

• Journalists, editors, writers, columnists Pray for more young Christians to be involved in the above fields So that they penetrate the media with Christian values and teachings.

Christians In Education:

• Chris tian Teachers, Principals, Professors, Academicians and Educationalists would grow in the spiritual life and involve in soul winning.

Christians In Government:

Pray for Christians who are holding heavy responsibilities in the government (Political Leaders, Bureaucrats, Judicial Officers).

Let them be like Daniel, Joseph, Esther, Nehemiah and Cornelius and reflect Christ in their works.

Pray that the Lord would raise lot of Christian Parliamentary and Legislative Assembly Members & Ministers.
