"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11: 28
Do you feel troubled or oppressed today?
Do you feel you cannot find your way?
Don't be dismayed, for Jesus will carry you. Are you brokenhearted or sad because of circumstances of life? Jesus knows all about it. Not one tear goes unnoticed by our Blessed Savior.
If there is trouble anywhere, you can be assured the Lord will help when you take your cares to Him in prayer. The old song is so true, "Oh, what needless pain we bear......all because we do not carry, everything to God in prayer." We don't have to bear our heavy burdens alone. We have one who will lift us up and give us a new song of joy.
There are people everywhere today who are lonely, depressed, and feel they have no hope in life. Yet, Jesus came and died for them. Because He lives, we can face each new tomorrow with hope. Because He lives, we too can have a life more abundant in His amazing grace.
When you feel you can no longer walk on, the Lord will carry you. His steps are always sure and will lead us in the right paths. We may have to walk through low valleys, but Jesus will walk with us all the way The highest mountain is no problem with Jesus as the wind beneath our wings. He'll lift us up above the shadows of this life. No matter what life may bring, we can always depend on the Lord and claim His promises, if we abide in Him.
Let Him give you peace today. The joy of the Lord is our strength. His love will light up our lives and drive the darkness away as we let Him be Lord of all. It is a real joy and blessing to know that we have one who will be with us in the darkest hour. When the going gets tough, run to Jesus and you'll find He is always enough. With the Lord in our lives, we'll make it through to the finish line.
As we look back, may we remember those times when the Lord has carried us through. And, may we always follow the footprints of Jesus, where ever they may lead us as we walk through this life. We may not know what the future holds, but we do know who holds the future. In Him, we can have blessed assurance and know everything will be alright in Christ. Keep your hand in the nail scarred hand of Jesus. There really will be peace in the valley for those who keep on "keeping on" for the Lord.
