Persecution Update reports that Pastor Hoysala and Dr. Anup Kumar went to visit a friend of Pastor Hoysala at a quarry in Jaaknahalli village, Pandavapura Taluk, Mandya District of Karnataka State on 15th November.

Finding that the friend was not there, they started back.

They were hailed by a woman who asked whether they were "people from a church".

They said yes.

She then asked them to pray for her as she was suffering from severe headache.

As they were praying, the owner of the quarry came and shouted at them, accusing them of "Matha Prachar" (Religious propaganda or spreading their religion.

The two left the place.

The next day, the quarry owner filed a complaint against them in the Pandavapura police station.

They were promptly arrested.
