On November 29th, 28 year old Neelam Paswan, wife of Pastor Shriram Paswan was allegedly abducted and raped when she had gone alone to a field near her house in Elha village, Rothas District of Bihar.

A complaint has been filed against the accused, Kamlesh Singh Yadav under Section 366 of the Indian Penal Code for rape and abduction. Police have been searching for Yadav but have been unable to find him up to date.

Neelam and Shriram work for a non-profit organization called Faith Fellowship in Bihar. It seems that the extremists in the village have been unhappy with the Christian work done by the organization in that area.

Pray for the Paswan family as they deal with the effects of this crime. Pray also for the protection of Christians in and around this area and that the accused will be found and justice would be done in connection with this crime.
